Pierce College became the site for the detonation of a military pyrotechnic device according to Los Angeles Police Department officials.
“The device was received by an arrest and we chose Pierce to detonate it,” said detective supervisor Doug Stice. “If it were anything larger, we wouldn’t have picked here.”
