The Student Health Center has received its first shipment of 400 doses of H1N1 vaccine, according to Beth Benne, R.N., director of the SHC.

“I am tentatively planning an H1N1 flu clinic for Nov. 16 and 17, somewhere in the new Student Services Building, probably in the second floor conference room in International Students,” Benne said.

There have been 2,000 vaccines ordered and Benne hopes an additional vaccine shipment will also arrive by then.

If it does not arrive in time, she still plans to administer the first 400 doses “on a first come, first serve basis to those students and staff who fit into the CDC high-risk categories.”
