The Lady Brahmas do it again, this time for the women.
In today’s breast cancer awareness game against the Bakersfield College women’s soccer team, Pierce College held on to first place in the Western State Conference, (WSC) Southern Division.
The score was 2 – 0 at the half and remained that way until the final whistle, declaring the 10th shutout in a row for the Lady Brahmas.
Briana Behrad scored the opener in the 6th minute of the game followed by yet another goal by the schools top scorer in history, Erica Vangsness.
Pierce’s overall record continues to impress, now at 12-0-1 overall and 6-0 in the WSC Southern Division.
The next game will be on Tuesday, 7 p.m. at Glendale College.
