ASO elections concludes

The Associated Student Organization (ASO) announced their new president today, Gabriel Mellibosky.

Mellibosky won by 234 votes, equaling roughly 54 percent.

Only 599 students voted.

“I am really happy. This is what I wanted and now its time to get working” said Mellibosky.

The other ASO presidential runners were unavailable for comment.

Kevin Sparks was in second place by 178 votes at 30 percent.

Regemralph Corpuz ended up in third place with 113 votes at 19 percent.

Ashley Wert’s received 43 votes at 7 percent, put her in fourth place.

The only runner-up for vice president was Febe Ruiz. She received 500 votes.

“I am so excited and I’m ready” said Ruiz.

The person who won the position of treasurer was Fernando Aquino who received 307 votes rounding up to 54 percent.

“I’m not sure how I feel, there are so many emotions, but I am ready to take on the job”  said Aquino.
