Library clears shelves out in preparation for move into new building

There will be less books on sale at the Pierce College Library this semester, compared to last semester, according to the library chair.

“We are getting ready for the move,” said Paula Paggi.

Contents of the library will be moving to its new home during the winter break of 2013, Paggi said.

In preparation for the move, the library is being cleared out.  For instance, leftover books on sale from last semester were given to the district to auction off, said Paggi.

Many of the books the library is getting rid of are older editions of science and math books, she said.
