Radio show host to speak at Pierce

Radio show host Mark Wallengren will be speaking in the Great Hall tomorrow at 3 p.m.

 

Wallengren, co-host of KOST 103.5’s morning show “Mark & Kim”, is lecturing as part of the Media Arts Department’s Speaker Series.

 

The Media Arts Speaker Series has been hosting guest speakers at Pierce College for two years, featuring personalities in the field, like documentary filmmaker Scott Anger, former Pierce College students-turned-sports broadcasters Randy Kerdoon and Tommy Jaxson, and Los Angeles Times photographer Liz Baylen.

 

These events are offered for free in the Great Hall and some professors even offer extra credit for attendance.

 

Refreshments will be provided.
