Transfer Center event a ‘major’ success
More than 500 Pierce College students attended the “Meet Your Major” workshop hosted by the Transfer and Career Center today at The Great Hall on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
Pizza was served to the attendees after filling out a “Meet Your Major” Fair 2012 sheet by getting signatures of three faculty members of each major and a $25 gift certificate to the bookstore was raffled off.
With all the different types of majors available at Pierce, teachers, mentors, and faculty members helped students with basic ideas of how to attain their goals with the correct classes to get into majors they are interested in and show the pathway of success by either finishing their education at Pierce or transfering to a Cal State or UC.
