A little buzzing bee strolled along Pierce College looking not for honey, but for candy on Oct. 31.

Nayely Santos, 1, was one of the 95 trick-or-treaters from the Child Development Center that made multiple stops at several different buildings and classrooms, collecting candy from students and administrators while strutting their costumes along the way, according to Phyllis Schneider, Director of the Child Development Center.

Parents, volunteers and teachers accompanied children in order to make sure they didn’t get lost in the sea of students going about their day.

This annual event is designed not only for the children, but it also shows the student teachers.

It is one of the many activities that shows then how much hard work and organization they will have to face once they have their own set of students.

The Child Development Program offers seven different certificates and degrees including Child Development Occupation Certificate Preschool Teacher, according to their website.
