Morning classes were delayed by a power outage in the English Building on Thur. May 22, according to instructor of political science Denise Robb.
This is the third time this semester the power has been out in Robb’s class, located in Room 1201 by the Botanical Gardens, according to Kristin Aslanian a student of Professor Robb’s.
The power was out when the students entered the classroom at 8 a.m. this morning and a generator was provided shortly after to assist with student presentations.
Although the generator has brought back temporary power, the amount of noise it produced was bothersome to some students.
“It’s really loud,” Aslanian said. “A few students were disrupted by how loud the generator was, so we had to shut our door.”
