Center for Academic Success open for Summer Session

Tutoring for Pierce College students will be available during the summer in the Center for Academic Success (CAS), according to an email sent by Crystal Kiekel, director of the CAS.

The center is located in the Library Learning Crossroads Building in Room 5130 and will be open Monday through Thursday, starting June 16. The hours of operation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Assistance with subjects like English, math, physics, and chemistry will be offered as well as writing workshops, according to the email.

The writing workshops will take place every Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

During the writing workshops, students will receive help with writing thesis statements, writing structures and more.
