The Brahmas saw their home winning streak come to an end as they lost to the San Diego Mesa College  Olympians  to drop their overall record to 2-3.

The Olympians scored a touchdown as Logan Vallo gave the team the lead early in the first quarter.

However, after the Olympians’ kickoff, the Brahmas responded as Keyshawn Richards scored on a 75-yard touchdown run.

The teams struggled to gain much ground against one another for the rest of the half until the Olympians successfully made it to the Brahmas 8-yard line.

Jack Akey restored the Olympians’ lead, making the score 14-7 at the end of the first half.

At the start of the second half, Joseph Branch scored on a 76-yard touchdown run making the score 14-13. The extra point attempt though was blocked.

The team were intercepted on three occasions as Eric Munoz scored on one of those interceptions making the score 31-13 in favor of the Olympians.

The Brahmas next week are off before returning to action  against Los Angeles Valley College on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Valley.
