BRIEF: Champions defeated at Long Beach

The season for the defending champions keeps going downhill as they lost to the Long Beach City College Vikings in straight sets (25-14, 25-11 and 25-16).

Service and attacking errors proved costly for the team throughout the game.

Grant DeGrasse led the Brahmas with 11 kills, one more than LBCC’s Miller Davis.

The Brahmas drop to 3-8 in the season and 1-6 in conference play.

The Brahmas return to the court Wednesday when they host Antelope Valley College at 6 p.m.
