Paul Neiman, director of college facilities, removes campaign placards for Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees hopeful Jozef Thomas Essavi at the Winnetka Avenue entrance to Pierce College yesterday morning, Election Day. College officials contacted the candidate the previous day and asked that he remove the signs. The request was ignored and additional signs were placed following the request.
