Taste of the Valley:

Paris Solimanzadeh

I know we can all agree that there are times when all we can think about is enjoying a juicy hot dog for lunch but we can’t seem to get ourselves to any ballpark that normally sells that sort of thing.

Well, let me put your worries to rest. QT’s Chicago Dogs is the place to be when your appetite is raging and you need a good fill of some all-natural American cuisine.

As a family-owned business since 1987, QT’s prides themselves in knowing that each customer is enjoying every last bite of their meal.

The nostalgic atmosphere of this delicious deli may be one of the reasons for the great satisfaction felt while eating any of their menu items.

Quite possibly the best part of the dining experience at QT’s Chicago Dogs is being able to sit back while you’re devouring your food and watch the news or a sports game on the giant plasma television in their seating area.

A customer favorite is the famous Chicago Dog and Fries.

This is one for the very hungry, topped with yellow mustard, green relish, chopped onions, two tomato wedges, a kosher pickle spear, two peppers with a dash of celery salt and served on a poppy seed bun.

You can choose from any of their many selections of 100 percent lean Vienna Beef hot dogs, ranging from the Polish Dog, to the Fire Dog or for the real hot dog connoisseur, the Jumbo Dog.

QT’s Chicago Dogs are known for using the freshest ingredients to ensure their food is nothing but the best in quality.

They also carry staple items like the all-American Cheeseburger, mouth-watering Philadelphia Steak Sandwich, as well as my favorite, the Gyro.

There’s even something for vegetarians: the Garden Dog can be served with any condiments your heart desires.

Besides the amazing food and the casually-themed atmosphere, the service here is wonderful. That makes a world of difference for me when choosing a place to eat with friends.

QT’s Chicago Dogs is celebrating 20 years in business. They recently opened their fourth location at the Warner Plaza in Woodland Hills. Whether you’re in Northridge, Reseda, Woodland Hills or Sherman Oaks, you’re sure to find a QT’s Chicago Dogs nearby.

Final Rating: A
