“Missing Students” exhibit rescheduled

The long-awaited collection will be displayed at Pierce for one day only. The sculptures were designed to raise awareness of the number of students missing at community colleges due to budget cuts last year.

A musical tribute to the many cultures that make up the rich musical fabric of Los Angeles. Program will include Tchaikovsky’s monumental “1812 Overture” and Florent Schmitt’s masterpiece “Dionysiaques.” Stephen Piazza, conductor.

Philharmonic Choir and Premiere Chorale

Dwight Elrich, guest director and chorale accompanist for the past 12 years, will present his arrangements of popular standards, spirituals and seasonal favorites. Featured work is the Magnificat by Robert Ray in a classic jazz style.

“Seiko Hattori: A Retrospective”

The late Seiko Hattori was an accomplished and prolific artist who spent many years studying with the Pierce College Art Department. This exhibition celebrates her accomplishments as a painter, ceramist and sculptor.
