$$Other Pierces
People who have tried to visit Pierce College’s website before have probably run into Pierce Mortuary Colleges . Their website, http://www.pierce.edu, is close enough to http://www.piercecollege.edu that many students accidentally go to their site instead of Los Angeles Pierce College.
$$English
The fact that making English the official language of the United States has become a hot topic of the presidential candidate debates really shows where our priorities lie. Don’t get me wrong. I really do think that all new immigrants should be encouraged to learn English because it makes communications easier.
Brahmas record another home win

Time to prune the Bush. [REVISED]
When the President of the United States is less popular now than Spiro Agnew was in 1973, we know we have a problem. Bush’s approval rating is at 33% as of October 4, 2007, according to the Gallup Poll. Then-Vice President Agnew’s approval rating just before his conviction for criminal tax evasion was 45%–same as former New Jersey Gov.
$$This may be a farm, but we aren’t pigs.
Cleanliness seems to be a priority everywhere these days, so why has Pierce College been left in the dust? According to Plant Facilities Director Paul Nieman, 21 custodians are on campus every morning to make sure our campus and classrooms are maintained.
$$Fashionably Lame
She was wearing a cute Juicy Couture miniskirt, a matching pink summery tank top, and had the entire Californian blonde beauty look. However, she had decided to give a finishing touch to her fashion statement by showing off her pink Ugg boots in the middle of the scorching summer heat! I have heard of the expression “fashionably late” but attending summer school at Pierce made me realize that a lot of people are also “fashionably lame”.
$$Sheriff’s suck nads
Being eyed as though we are common criminals and speaking to like we are about to commit a crime, are two of the many ways some of the Campus Sheriff’s Department personal tend to treat students. There are those who smile and are approachable to say hello.
