An†accreditation team consisting of a 10 people roster from different junior/community colleges†visited the campus to evaluate if Pierce meets standards for accreditation.

Pre-Vet Club Promotes Education Through Gift Drive
The pre-veterinary club, along with Walking Shield American Indian Society, participates in an annual charity event that incorporates the generosity of students and faculty to provide toys, clothes and backpacks for impoverished Native American schoolchildren.

Homecoming for Pierce College is a time to celebrate alumni and also welcome a new generation of students and faculty. There are two potential dates for the Brahmas home game. The choices are Saturday October 27 against Moorpark College, or Saturday November 10 against our school rivals LA Valley College.
$$Goodman wins Professor of the Year award (CORRECTED)
This past April the faculty here at Pierce College had their annual nominations for this year’s Professor of the Year award; one of those nominated was Dr. Isidore “Izzy” Goodman. During the next days it was announced that he was indeed the winner of this prestigious award.

Pierce College students hailed and give thanks to the Agricultural Science Department after graduating from the Pre-Veterinary Science Program in spring of 2007 with the help of Dr. Leland Shapiro Six students were accepted into U.C. Davis after completing the Pre-Vet program at Pierce’s Agricultural Science Center.
