OCT. 4, 2008 – The Pierce College football team earned their first victory of the season yesterday after defeating East Los Angeles College, 28-15.
The offense was lead by Taylor Budd, who threw for 193 yards and two touchdowns that were caught by Kenny Davis, who had 126 receiving yards in the game and Eddie Gomez, who ran for 110 yards for the win.
The defense was lead by Craig Alexander who made nine tackles in the game.
Pierce is now 1-0 in their conference and will face West Los Angeles College for an away game Saturday at 1 p.m.
