The parking situation has always been bad at Pierce. This not news. What is news is it’s going to get worse. Parking Lot 1, in front of the Administration Building, will be closed for repairs beginning October 1. Thankfully, this isn’t a permanent closure but the effect will be painful for as long as it’s closed.

Drinking age faces test of time
Some college presidents are rethinking the idea about lowering the drinking age from 21 to 18 to reduce binge drinking. Some agree about changing the law but some do not agree because there could be many disadvantages to the change. President Robert Garber sees points on both sides but says if the drinking age were to change, then it should only take place “where it would be monitored and regulated.
‘FrightFair’ promotes ‘growing’ a vote
Halloween this year at the Pierce College Farm Center is back featuring the FrightFair Scream Park with three new thrilling attractions including the Factory of Nightmares Haunted House, Creatures of the Corn Haunted Trail and Get Lost in the Corn Maze.
