LETTER TO THE EDITOR: More than just students

Iris Zelaya

Your article (Summer Session B Cancelled) was very informing. Most students only think about how it is affecting them but in reality, it’s affecting everyone. Teachers, Staff, and unemployed Americans that have been encouraged to go back to school by our President Barack Obama suffer from this budget cut. As a CSUN student, I count on summer sessions at Pierce College to make-up for classes I am not able to take at CSUN, but now like many other students I will not be able to catch up as much this summer and I will not be able to enroll in the Multi-Media class (that is not offered in session A) I was looking forward in taking.

The article made me realize the cancellation of session B has made an impact on everyone. I hope winter session won’t be cancelled as well.

Sincerely,
Iris Zelaya
