After months of waiting, the new Steven E. Schofield Aquatic Center is finally open and ready for swimmers.
The pool was originally scheduled to open in April of this year, but frequent delays pushed completion back to this summer.
New features include a new Wellness Pool, which can be used for swimming as well as physical therapy. The pool is 25 yards long and 2.5 to 4.5 ft. deep.
Swimming classes will be offered this fall semester.
