To be or not to Greek

Eimantas Kiseliovas/Roundup

There should be Greek life on two year community college campus’s.

This would help student’s when transferring out to universities none the less choosing which one to go to because most school around the nation have Greek life on their campus.

Fraternities and Sororities are a major part of some students’ college experiences.
Greek life is a great way of networking quickly, making new friends, and being a part of your respectful university.

These social clubs offer a great way of succeeding and being on track to finishing college. Most fraternities and sororities require you to keep up a decent grade point average such as Sigma Phi Epsilon requires a 3.0 GPA to be able participate in their events.

Some events might include philanthropies, co-ed sports events, formals and socials.

Greek life lays down foundations of virtue, diligence, and perseverance onto character.

Also most all Greek life organizations offer scholarships to help you through school financially.

The twist to it is that you have to go through the brutal process called hazing. I’m sure you’ve seen some form of hazing in movies.

Its a hard but worthwhile process to get you into a fraternity or sorority of your choosing.

“It’s the best way to get through school, it keeps you connected” says Sean Abramson, brother of SigEp at Arizona State University.

Also he said by going to football and basketball games with your brothers, being a part of relay-for-life, and other such philanthropic activities such as planting trees with another sorority or fraternity, you get to meet new people that attend the same school.
