The Pierce College women’s soccer team beat Mt. San Antonio College in penalty kicks today at home.
The game had been tied, 1-1, at the end of regulation play, and remained tied through the two, 15 minute over time periods.
Freshman Jennifer Alvarez and sophomores Michelle Oakes and Rachel Kove all made successful kicks, and freshman Ani Eishoei scored the last kick to secure the win for the Brahmas.
Alvarez scored the only regulation goal for the team in the 13th minute of the first half, and Mt. SAC freshman forward Brianna Joseph scored the tying goal for the Mountaineers.
