The Pierce College men’s volleyball team dropped their first game at home after being swept by the Irvine Valley College Lasers.
The Lasers came in beaming yesterday as PIerce struggled getting kills and maintaining a lead.
The first set ended with the final score of 30-21 which gave Irvine Valley a confidence boost going into the second set.
The second set was almost like a game of chess as neither team was able to win by two with the score of 30 and the Brahmas seemed to have found there identity, however the Brahmas had trouble consistently holding on to the lead and went down in the second set, 33-31.
Unlike the first set Pierce started the third set convincing and looking powerful but towards the end the team broke down and went down by a score of 30-22.
