Pierce College men’s basketball defeated the Ventura College Pirates in a nail bitter yesterday.
The Brahmas fell behind once in the first half but managed to regain their energy and the lead to go into halftime up 11 points.
Pierce’s Josh Thomas finished the game with 14 points to lead the Brahmas in scoring.
In a hectic game which Pierce’s biggest lead was 11 the Brahmas did just enough in crunch time to get the victory and leave the gym with their 13th win of the season as they defeated Ventura 73-71.
