The Stars of the Los Angeles Symphonic Winds will be performing a subscription concert on Feb. 28 entitled, “Fables, Legends and Fantasies.”
The concert will take place from 1- 4 p.m. at the Pierce College Performing Arts Building. Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased at the box office on the day of the concert.
The L.A. Winds is a 100-piece band that includes instruments such as the flute, tuba, oboe and bassoon.
Lead by conductor Stephen Piazza, they will perform songs such as “Lord of the Rings” by Johann de Meij and Stravinsky’s “Firebird.”
