Free admission to a marathon of acclaimed Japanese animation director Hayao Miyazaki’s films will be hosted by the Genshiken club tomorrow in the Great Hall. The show will be from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Genshiken Club promotes Japanese media and culture. Their work-in-progress website can be found at MyTokyoBox.com/Genshiken, and they have a page on Facebook.

Hayao Miyazaki’s most recent work is “Ponyo,” released and translated, or dubbed, into English in the United States last summer, and winning several awards in Japan. Miyazaki’s credits also include “Princess Mononoke,” “My Neighbor Totoro,” and the 2002 Oscar winner “Spirited Away” for Best Animated Feature, as listed in the Academy Awards Database online.
