Direction Literary Magazine had its annual bake sale Monday on the Campus Mall to raise money for the magazine production.
This year is particularly special for the magazine; it’s their 50th anniversary.
The all-day bake sale raised a total of $432. It featured vegan pastries, which were donated by local bakeries, and traditional sweets baked by students themselves.
Direction Magazine’s 2010 edition will be out in the fall and can be bought in the Student Store.
The magazine is run by students and any registered Pierce College student is eligible to submit artwork or articles.
