Hall of Fame Golf Tournament and Induction dinner

The Pierce college Athletic department will be inducting it’s first Hall of Fame class on Monday.

The events for the day include a Golf Tournament and Induction dinner at the Woodland Hills Country Club.

The Golf tournament starts off with check-in at 11:00 a.m. There will be a box lunch served between 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Tee times start at 12:30 p.m.

Dinner will begin at 7:00 p.m.

At 6:30 p.m., Adjunct Professor of Music James Domine’s band will begin playing.

During the dinner, people will be given 20 raffle tickets. With the raffle tickets, people will choose how many tickets they want to put in a basket corresponding to a prize.

There are 15 prizes for the raffle. Prizes include a Hanley Ramirez autographed jersey and baseball, two Hideki Matsui autographed baseball’s, a case of wine and golf outings at several Country Club’s.

Hall of Fame Inductee’s include: Ray Bishop, Denny Crum, Doug DeCinces, Marv Dunphy, Geri Fiorello, Erwin Goldbloom, Mark Harmon, Erik Kramer, Bob Lyons, Ken Stanley, Paul Xanthos and Barry Zito.

All inductee’s have confirmed except for DeCinces and Zito.

DeCinces recently had back surgery and Zito may be pitching for the San Francisco Giants.
