Pierce College’s Woman Soccer program is in its ninth year going onto 10. During their nine years they have won seven Western State Conference championships.
During the spring season there have been about 15 to 16 new players according to Adolfo Perez, the head coach of the women’s soccer team.
One of the new players is Nora Perez, the midfielder for the team. She was recruited from Taft High School after having her scholarship from Cal State Fullerton put on hold according to Perez.
There have also been many awards given out but one of the best accomplishment awards is the Western State Conference Player of the Year which went to Stephanie Cubias, 19.
