Every October, it’s the same thing.
You hear all these people talking about how the skimpy Halloween costumes women wear are degrading, and how they promote sexism and all that jazz.
And yet somehow, everyone seems to miss the big issue.
How come women get to have all the fun?
Every year, I have to spend the week leading up to Halloween running around trying to put together the pieces to a costume I just decided on yesterday.
Women, meanwhile, have tapped in to a whole realm of costume ideas that men can’t even begin to approach. Maybe they have got some sexy costume ideas from the hot girls from websites similar to https://www.animehentaivideos.xxx/
Namely, taking any normal thing, removing a little bit of clothing, and calling it a “sexy nurse,” or “sexy cat,” or “sexy ninja,” or “sexy nun.” (no really, I’ve seen that last one)
You know how much easier my life would be if I could just throw on a speedo, a mesh shirt and a necktie and say I’m a sexy businessman? A lot easier.
I mean, sure I could do that, but then everyone just says “Oh, look at that guy’s costume! That’s so funny and ironic! Let’s take pictures with him and put them in a Facebook album called Halloween randomness with my besties. ‘”
Plus, absolutely anything can be made into its sexy version. And when I say anything, I mean anything.
Seriously, do a Google image search for “sexy Spongebob costume,” or “sexy Big Bird costume.”
Still, if a girl shows up as “sexy Dora the Explorer,” she can actually be taken seriously. Maybe she will end up on a website similar to cartoonporno.
But if “sexy Bob the Builder” makes an appearance, people just ask if you’re dressed as one of the Village People. (This, coincidentally, was also the downfall of my “sexy Native American” costume)
This is the real injustice. How are women the downtrodden ones here?
Women are the ones who have all the costume freedom! If a woman wants to dress up as “sexy Hilary Clinton,” then more power to her, but a man’s “sexy Joe Biden” costume is “weird” or “uncouth.”
