The president of Pierce College will continue to serve as interim-president of Mission College until May 1, according to an official announcement from the office of the Chancellor of LACCD.
Dr. Monte Perez has been appointed as the new president of Mission College. However, he will not take over until a month after Kathleen Burke Kelly’s original scheduled return date.
Joy McCaslin will continue to serve as interim president of Pierce College until her return.
Kathleen Burke-Kelly has been absent from Pierce since Feb. 1, leaving Joy McCaslin, an interim, in charge of the school during this accreditation year.
