Tonight at 7 p.m. in the Art Department Pierce College is hosting the Getty Center’s “Endangered Observers” showcase.
The event will be in the campus’ art gallery and will feature 40 to 60 photographs from seven photographers according to Instructor of Arts Monika Del Bosque who will be running the event.
The Getty Center has been offering similar events since the 1960’s. This is the First time that Pierce College has been involved.
This year’s event will focus on documentary photography. The Pierce College class was led by Assistant professor of Photography Jill Connelly.
Anyone interested in attending should park in lot 6 located at the top of the hill near the Music Department.
“It’s really fine art,” said Del Bosque.
