The Media Arts speaker series concluded today with a presentation by documentary filmmaker Scott Anger.
Anger began by speaking a little about himself and his experience as a still photographer.
He also shared how he transitioned into the business of documentary filmmaking.
Anger showed one his documentary films titled “50 Milligrams Is Not Enough,” the story of a Ukrainian boy who had several tumors and went withuot the proper medicine to alleviate his pain.
It’s important to take your audience on an emotional rollercoaster, according to Anger.
Anger concluded by answering questions from students, faculty and staff in the audience.
