Volleyball team continues to impress

The Pierce College women’s volleyball team beat the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines and the Bakersfield Renegades without losing a single set in the San Diego Mesa invitational on Friday.

The Brahmas blew away the Wolverines by the scores of 25-8, 25-15, 25-13.

However the game against the Renegades was tougher for them posting scores of  25-23, 25-23,25-22.

The defending 2010 state champions are off to a really promising start having won their first seven games without dropping a set.

The San Diego Mesa invitational is a two-day tournament in which the Brahmas are the team to beat coming in ranked as the #1 seed team in the state.
