A carnival with food, games, and rides is coming to Pierce College Oct. 13.
The Associated Student Organization (ASO)-sponsored event is an opportunity for clubs on campus to fundraise.
“It’s like a larger-scale Club Rush,” said Club Council President EJ Tormes.
Aside from the club booths that will be selling food and holding carnival games, 97.1 Amp Radio will be playing music and passing out giveaways, according to ASO Vice President Febe Ruiz.
In addition to the club booths there will also be free rides and games.
“[There will be] a jousting ring, basketball free throw, football toss, a giant slide, and an obstacle course,” said Tormes.
There will also be a free henna tattoo booth at the event from noon to 5 p.m., paid for by the ASO, according to faculty advisor Brad Saenz.
The carnival will be held at Rocky Young Park next to the Center for Sciences from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
