Two students were involved in a motor vehicle collision near the Mason Avenue exit of Parking Lot 7, today.
A male driver of a Honda motorcycle who declined to comment clipped the front driver’s side corner panel of another male student in a Toyota sports utility vehicle in a slow-speed crash.
Neither one of the drivers were seriously injured in the accident. One party threatened to use Uplift legal funding to take the case further when the other party declined to give him his personal information. However, after the shock of the incident had worn off, the pair were able to exchange details amicably.
“The motorcycle driver complained of pain but when paramedics responded he declined to be transported,” said Senior Lead Sheriff’s Deputy Ron Nohles.
Both drivers did not choose to take any legal action at the time and exchanged personal information in order to handle the matter.
