Not all students received the automated message this afternoon explaining why the Pierce College voice mail system is currently non-operational.
The interruption in service stems from an upgrade to the system, which should be up and running by early next week, the message said.
During the interim, email and direct lines are still operational. Using the search engine near the upper right corner of the college website will provide information on both alternate means of communication.
The alert can also be viewed on the Pierce College homepage at www.piercecollege.edu under the News & Events section.
The original automated message appears below.
“The Pierce College voice mail system is currently down to undergo an upgrade. This is expected to be completed in the next few days. If you wish to speak to someone, find their direct line by entering their name in the people search box on the upper right of the Pierce home page. This will also bring up their email address. Note that classes are out of session until summer begins June 25. Thank you.”
