The Getty Center will host a night of art, music, tours and food for Los Angeles college students on Monday, April 15.
College Night at the Getty Center will feature an exhibition, “Overdrive: L.A. Constructs the Future,” including Pierce College students’ artwork, according to a Getty press release.
“Overdrive” aims to highlight Southern California’s architectural innovations and dispel myths about the city’s postwar growth, according to the Getty’s website.
The exhibition, which is now on display, includes “hundreds of drawings, photographs, architectural models, films, animations, oral histories, and ephemera” that detail LA’s growth.
