The Pierce College women’s soccer team defeated Ventura 1-0, on Friday, Oct. 11 at home. Jacqueline Hilario of Pierce scored the only goal of the game in the first half at the 23′ minute mark. This win over Ventura marks Pierce’s fourth win in the last five games improving the team’s overall record to 6-3-2. Pierce well be defending its home turf at “The Pit” against Cuesta College on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
