The staff of Pierce College’s Roundup News, The Bull Magazine, and KPC Radio attended the Journalism Association of Community Colleges’ 2014 State Convention, which was held at the Burbank Marriott Hotel and Convention Center in Burbank, Calif. The convention, which started Thursday, April 3 and ended Saturday, April 5, hosted community colleges statewide where student journalists were able to attend various workshops and compete in on-the-spot contests, mail-in, and bring-in categories.
