Men’s volleyball team closes out season with win over LA Trade Tech

With the season coming down to its last game, the Pierce College men’s volleyball team ended its season on a good note with a 3-0 win against LA Trade Tech on Friday, April 11.

Heading into the game, Pierce had only won one of its last three previous games. The Brahmas last win was on March 28 against Moorpark. In the month of April, Pierce lost to Santa Monica on the fourth by 3-0 and then on the ninth 3-2 against Long Beach.

Pierce beat LA Trade Tech in straight sets, winning the first set by a score of 25-18. The second set was a little more contested but Pierce managed to pull off the victory as they won 25-20. The third and final set was much like the first, controlled by Pierce and with few opportunities for LA Trade Tech to get back into the game.

With the win over LA Trade Tech, Pierce improves its season record to 7-13 and conference record to 4-8, according to cccaastats.org.
