The Associated Student Organization and Political Science Department will be hosting a special event on Wednesday, April 23 in the Great Hall.
“An Evening with Dennis Prager” is an event that will take place at Pierce College with nationally syndicated Dennis Prager. Diverse in many areas, he will share his story about his accomplishments and future endeavors.
Prager graduated from the Middle East and Russian Institutes and received his doctorate of laws from Pepperdine University. He was involved with the Academia and International Affairs and has taught Russian and Jewish history at Brooklyn College, which allowed him to enhance his multiplicity in languages.
Prager is a radio host and is currently broadcasting live on KRTA every Monday through Friday in Los Angeles. In 2012, he produced a documentary called “Israel in a Time of Terror,” which looks at how Israelis deals with the threat of terror on a daily basis.
For 10 years, Prager has accompanied a weekly interfaith dialogue on the radio and has participated in discussions throughout the world.
The free event will begin at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:15 p.m. This is a student and professor only event due to limited space. Students must pre-register at DennisPrager.EventBrite.com or PragerUniversity.org.
