Pierce College’s women’s volleyball team, a team that was very hyped at the beginning of the season has now distinguished itself as average at best.
Its latest loss was against the Ventura College Pirates on Wednesday, Oct. 8 who pounded the Brahmas in three sets (27-25, 25-22, 25-19).
The Pirates were led by Sarah Veloz who had 11 kills and Shelby Stanger who had 24 assists.
Pierce has now lost its first two games of the conference season and look to turn things around as they play host to Mission College, Friday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
