The Pierce College women’s volleyball team improves its record to 5-0 after winning in three straight sets in a best of five match against Los Angeles Mission College on Saturday, September 3.
The Brahmas showcased strong offensive game play, beating Mission 25-12, 25-11 and 25-10 in three sets.
“We definitely had some moments where we could’ve brought out more energy,” said Hayley Alvarez, setter for Pierce College. “But overall I felt it was a good, solid played match.”
Pierce’s match against Mission was the first game in a double header. Its next match is against Grossmont College at 7 p.m.
