The women’s water polo team ruled the water in it’s match against Santa Monica College, winning 14-7.
The Brahmas showed more communication in the water, which guided them to a victory.
Santa Monica had one returning player from last semester, while Pierce had three making the game a match of the rookies.
Prior to the game Assistant Coach Samantha Buliavac expressed her excitement about the match.
“Santa Monica is probably the closest team to our level,” Buliavac said. “So excitingly, this will actually be one of the few competitive games that we’ll have.”
The next water polo game will be at LA Valley on Oct.12 at 3:30 p.m.
