Soccer wins conference; West LA loses the day

Goals from Ashley Oviedo, Destiny Brandsetter and Sara Hernandez gave the Brahmas their 11 conference title in program history as the game ended 3-1.

Hernandez provided an assist for Oviedo who scored the first goal for the team after Ana Sainz Martinez gave West LA the lead.

Brahmas’ Leslie Ramirez was the player who created the most chances, with five shots on goal.

The last game before playoffs is against College of the Canyons on Friday, Nov.11 at 3 p.m.
