Sports Brief: Women place higher in Pasadena Invitational

The swim and dive team participated in the 17th annual Pasadena Invitational in which the women finished ninth with a score of 69 points. Meanwhile, the men ended 10th with 81 in the three-day event.

In the men’s diving one-meter competition, Chase Raynor finished third with 153.95 while Carlos Mier took eighth with 125.50 and Ahmedjibreel Zavhar ended in ninth with 105.50.

These divers also participated in the three-meter diving competition as Mier finished sixth with a score of 133.90, Zavhar took eighth as he got 115.10  and Raynor ninth with 109.85.

Nina Farivar placed last in the women’s one-meter dive with a final score of 78.60.
