In a close game against Compton Community College, Pierce softball lost 6-5.
A lack of intensity, hits and runs cost the Brahmas a win, according to assistant coach Mark Cooley.
Despite gaining momentum in the seventh inning, the Brahmas were held back by their inconsistency making the little plays.
Several things that are controllable within the game are the team’s effort and attitude, Cooley said.
“The difference is the indifference in this case,” Cooley said.
