The women’s volleyball team took the win against the West LA College Wildcats in straight sets. The scores were 25-11, 25-6 and 25-11.
Head coach Nabil Mardini was proud of his team for the effort they put into the game. The coaches were able to get all of the players off the bench and onto the court.
“There was not just one player that stood out. All the bench players did really well,” Mardini said.
Mardini mentioned that everyone on the team had a great performance despite not knowing the opponent well.
“Everybody did really well. We had to take care of our side. We didn’t know much about the other team, so our number one concern was just to take care of our side and make sure we were doing the best we could,” Mardini said.
The Brahmas are in action tomorrow for the semifinals at 1:30 p.m. against Grossmont College.
